It’s important for patients to be in good health and to have realistic expectations for what the procedure can do. Beauty at the speed of you
Once you’ve met with expert Miami plastic surgeon, Dr. White and he’s developed your treatment plan, the actual AccuTite procedure often takes less than an hour for him to perform. Dr. White begins by numbing the treatment area with local anesthesia to ensure you feel no pain during the procedure. He then inserts the thin wand known as a cannula through a tiny incision.
An electrode on the outside of your skin allows the radiofrequency energy to pass between it and the cannula, while AccuTite’s precise computer-guided technology carefully monitors the temperature for your safety. After a few passes with the wand to ensure proper treatment, Dr. White removes the device and you are free to go. For some patients, Dr. White will perform local area liposuction as part of the procedure. Since the procedure only uses a local anesthetic, with laughing gas if desired, you should be able to drive yourself home without difficulty following your AccuTite treatment.
Dr. White advises that patients give themselves two to three days to focus on recovery following AccuTite treatment. Most patients who have the procedure done on Friday are ready to go back to work by Monday or Tuesday, making AccuTite an excellent “weekend” treatment. Because AccuTite is a minimally-invasive procedure, you may notice bruising or redness following your procedure. This typically heals on its own within about ten days and is usually easily concealable with makeup. Dr. White recommends avoiding heavy lifting and exercise for about two weeks after your procedure to minimize the risk of bruising.
You’ll begin to notice initial skin tightening results about a week after your AccuTite procedure. However, that’s just the beginning of the fun! Since it takes time for the body to produce collagen, you’ll notice a gradual, general improvement to the skin in the weeks and months following your procedure. Skin tightening and contouring improvements will continue for nine months to a year after a single session, making AccuTite a simple way to get long-lasting results and preserve them with the occasional maintenance treatment.
Dr. White carefully administers local anesthetic to the treatment area before your AccuTite procedure so you feel no discomfort during the process. Nitrous oxide, commonly known as laughing gas, may also be used to help calm your nerves if desired. You may experience some soreness or bruising following treatment, but it is mild and easily managed with over-the-counter medication.
FaceTite (also developed by InMode) is a similar procedure to AccuTite with a slightly larger cannula and wand. In fact, AccuTite is often called “mini-FaceTite” due to its similarities. The biggest difference between the two is that, since AccuTite is smaller, it can treat more delicate areas of the face that even FaceTite cannot reach, like the areas under the eyes.
