The MyEllevate Neck Lift is a non-surgical, minimally invasive procedure that lifts and rejuvenates the neck and jawline without the need for a long recovery time.
This treatment is performed using what is known as percutaneous suture suspension. This means that sutures are placed under the skin in the neck via small needle punctures and positioned to provide a lifting and tightening effect. The only wounds are the small holes produced by the needle punctures, which are behind the ears and under the jaw. Often the suture procedure is combined with very light liposuction in the chin area or an energy-based skin tightening treatment like Facetite to supplement the treatment and provide even longer-lasting results.
While the MyEllevate technique and a traditional neck lift surgery aim to provide a similar outcome, they use different methods and treat a slightly different range of issues.

At the beginning of the procedure, most of our Miami MyEllevate patients are given a mild sedative to relax and prepare for treatment. The skin is cleansed, and precautions are taken to prevent infection or complications.
Next, local anesthetic is injected into the treatment areas and allowed to take effect. Once you are sufficiently numb, special lighted equipment is used through needle holes to accurately and effectively place the sutures. The total procedure time is usually about one hour.
After the procedure, we will place a compression garment around the chin that will need to be worn for most of the next few days. While some mild swelling or bruising can occur, many of our Miami MyEllevate patients return to work or other normal routines within a few days.
