Most traditional peels follow the “no pain, no gain” philosophy with their products. Lighter peels are painless, but they provide negligible results. Deeper peels are effective, but they also involve considerable downtime. VI Peel provides the results of deeper peels with the recovery of lighter peels, i.e., no pain, maximum gains.
The VI Peel results last as long as you maintain your skincare, depending on your exposure to the sun, use of sunscreen, moisturizing habits, etc. Generally speaking, most patients need 3 to 4 VI Peels per year to maintain the results.
You might feel a gentle stinging or burning sensation during the application process. Some patients need a fan or cold air to minimize the sensation. However, the sensation is mild, completely tolerable, and temporary.
You can start wearing makeup once the VI Peel has dried. However, you should avoid wearing makeup on the days when your skin is actively peeling. During those days, you should only use moisturizers.
